Human Relief Foundation
Human Relief Foundation (HRF) is proud to share the latest developments on our Eco Village—an innovative, long-term initiative aimed at providing sustainable housing, education, and livelihood opportunities for vulnerable communities in the Pabna District of Bangladesh. This project is designed to foster self-sufficiency while addressing critical social and environmental challenges.
With land registration and project planning successfully completed, we have now transitioned into the construction phase. Our team has been actively working on key infrastructure developments, including tree plantations, road extensions, and soil preparation. Significant progress has been made in laying the foundations for housing units, a mosque, and a dedicated training centre, ensuring long-term security and opportunity for those in need.
Beneficiary selection is currently underway to ensure that the most vulnerable families are prioritised for relocation and support. Additionally, sustainability remains at the heart of this initiative. A bio-gas plant and eco-friendly infrastructure are being integrated into the village to promote renewable energy and self-reliance among residents.
Like many large-scale humanitarian projects, challenges such as inflation, material shortages, and logistical constraints have required careful planning and strategic market monitoring. However, with the continued support of our donors and partners, we remain committed to overcoming these obstacles and delivering on our promise of a better future for those in need.
Thank you for standing with us on this journey. We look forward to sharing more updates as we progress towards completing this life-changing project.
