*Terms & conditions

1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern the fundraising competition (the “Competition”) organised by Human Relief Foundation (the “Charity”), a registered charity in the United Kingdom (charity no. 112681 & SC038671).  

1.2 By entering the Competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.  

 

2. Eligibility

2.1 The Competition is open to individuals aged 16 or over, excluding employees of the Charity and their immediate families.  

2.2 Participants must register for the Competition via hrf.org.uk before the deadline of 14 March 2025.  

 

3. Fundraising requirement

3.1 To qualify for entry into the prize draw, participants must raise a minimum of £1,000 for the Charity by 30 March 2025.  

3.2 All funds must be collected through the Charity’s official fundraising platform, Launchgood and verified by the Charity.  

3.3 Only donations received and processed by Midnight, 30 March 2025 on the fundraising deadline will count towards eligibility.  

 

4. The prize draw 

4.1 Eligible participants who raise £1,000 or more will be entered into a prize pool to win one of three prizes.  

4.2 The winners will be selected on most amount of money raised from all qualifying participants. 

4.3 Winners will be awarded as such. First prize - largest sum raised, second prize – second largest sum raised, third prize – third largest sum raised.

4.4 Winners will be notified via email or phone within 14 days of competition closing.  

 

5. Prizes

5.1 The prizes are as follows:  

First prize: All-inclusive Ummrah package for two

Second prize: Playstation 5

Third prize: Apple iPad

5.2 Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative rewards.  

5.3 The Charity reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.  

 

6. Use of funds

6.1 All funds raised must be donated to the Charity and cannot be refunded to participants or donors. 

6.2 The Charity will use the funds to support HRF international humanitarian projects.  

 

7. Publicity and data protection 

7.1 By entering the Competition, participants agree that their name and image may be used by the Charity for promotional purposes.  

7.2 Personal data will be handled in accordance with the Charity’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.hrf.org.uk/privacy-policy/

 

8. Disqualification

8.1 The Charity reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:  

- Uses fraudulent means to raise funds.  

- Engages in conduct that brings the Charity into disrepute.  

- Fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.  

 

9. Liability

9.1 The Charity accepts no responsibility for technical failures, lost entries, or other issues beyond its control.  

9.2 The Charity shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered as a result of participating in the Competition.  

 

10. Changes and cancellation

10.1 The Charity reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or cancel the Competition at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.
