Yemen crisis

The hidden humanitarian crisis

Yemen has experienced longstanding political instability, with a series of conflicts and power struggles between various factions. Following the displacement of the internationally recognised government in 2014, conflict in the country has steadily increased, severely restricting the flow of humanitarian aid.

The impact on the everyday, civilian population has been catastrophic. Yemen has witnessed the displacement. , destruction of infrastructure, and a collapsing healthcare system. Millions of people face acute food and water shortages, malnutrition, and a lack of access to basic services. The conflict has also led to the spread of diseases, including a severe cholera outbreak.

This man-made tragedy has left 21.6 million in need of humanitarian aid. 17 million of the population are food insecure , of whom 3.5 million are pregnant/breastfeeding women and children under five.

Delivering a brighter future with our experience

Thanks to your donations, we're able to  regularly deliver vital food aid those who are destitute, and work to find short and medium term solutions for the 4.5 million displaced who are without shelter and housing.
